Although Landsource Southeast has bought, managed, and sold tens of thousands of acres over the years, we’re not a major corporation.
We’re a family-owned and operated team, and we’d appreciate the opportunity to get to know you personally, and discuss what you’re looking for in a parcel of real property. Please take your time browsing our online listings of land for sale near Anderson, SC and the surrounding areas, but be sure to give us a call even if you don’t find exactly what you’re looking for online. Connecting you to your ideal piece of land is our top priority.
Step 1: Consultation
Call us old-fashioned if you wish, but we believe that nothing beats a person-to-person chat. Our process starts with an in-person or phone conversation about what you’re looking for in residential or commercial acreage. Many of our customers already know exactly where they’d like to buy land, but it’s fine if you aren’t sure yet. We can help you find the right property for you. Some factors to consider include:
- Geographical location
- Lot size
- Street access
- Distance to conveniences/amenities
- Soil type/drainage
- Presence of specific features (i.e. lake or stream)
- Water table
Step 2: Property Showing
After identifying the property that seems best suited to your needs, we’ll set an appointment to examine it in person. Viewing a parcel of “raw” land is different from a house viewing. We recommend that you come equipped with a camera. Photos can aid your decision-making process. Bring a notepad and pen too, and jot down your first impressions. And as always, we’re eager to hear your questions about our properties.
Step 3: Land Survey and Title Check
Once you’ve made a decision to purchase property up for sale near Anderson, SC, we’ll get the ball rolling with the legal paperwork. Landsource Southeast will make arrangements for the land survey to be completed. This usually takes a couple of weeks. We’ll also send the contract to a real estate attorney of your choice who will perform the title search and begin the closing arrangements. As soon as the land survey is completed, the attorney can prepare the deed.
Step 4: Financing and Title Transfer
The specific process to transfer the property depends on whether the buyer is making a cash purchase or using a financing option. If you’re financing through a bank or other institution, you’ll complete their application process. The property and its transfer will go through a number of verifications, including the appraisal. This is the point in the process at which approvals are obtained, if any are required. When the financial matters are resolved, we’ll set a closing date. This is the final appointment, at which the monetary transfer occurs and the property buyer receives the title by deed conveyance.
Landsource Southeast is proud to offer pristine property for sale in Anderson, SC and regions throughout the southeast and Midwest. Give us a call at (864) 225-0025, and let us help you turn your vision into reality.
